FORMAT
All producers shall submit two original beats. The Deadline to register is Friday May 8, 2020
206 Zulu will review all submissions and judge each beat by mix, originality, and overall how they like the beat on a scale of 1 to 10.
The 32 producers will be notified on Sunday May 17, 2020 if they have selected to compete in the head to head brackets.
ALL BEATS FOR ANY ROUND SHALL BE A MAXIMUM 60 SECONDS LONG.
Round 1
Each of the selected 32 producers will need to submit two beats, one sample flip beat and one original beat.
The Sample to be used for Round 1 is the Friday the 13th theme, copy and paste youtube link below. You may sample or do an interpolation/replay.

Each beat will be uploaded to Youtube. The producer with the most ‘likes’ from Monday May 25, until Saturday May 30 at 9pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) wins.
Round 2
Each of the 16 producers shall email two originalbeats to beatmastersbeatbattle@gmail.com in MP3 or WAV or AIF format
Email is due by Sunday May 31, 2020
Each beat will be uploaded to Youtube. The producer with the most ‘likes’ from Monday June 1, until Saturday June 6 at 9pm PST wins.
Round 3
Each of the 8 producers shall email two originalbeats to beatmastersbeatbattle@gmail.com in MP3 or WAV or AIF format
Email is due by Sunday June 7, 2020
Each beat will be uploaded to Youtube. The producer with the most ‘likes’ from Monday June 8, until Saturday June 13 at 9pm PST wins.
Semi Finals
Each of the 4 producers shall email two originalbeats to beatmastersbeatbattle@gmail.com in MP3 or WAV or AIF format
Email is due by Sunday June 14, 2020
Each beat will be uploaded to Youtube. The producer with the most ‘likes’ from Monday June 15, until Saturday June 20 at 9pm PST wins.
Finals
Each of the 2 producers shall email two originalbeats to beatmastersbeatbattle@gmail.com in MP3 or WAV or AIF format
Email is due by Sunday June 21, 2020
Each beat will be uploaded to Youtube. The producer with the most ‘likes’ from Monday June 22, until Saturday June 27 at 9pm PST wins.
The producer with the most likes wins the $500 Grand Prize! Runner up will be awarded $200
206 Zulu does not tolerate bias or discrimination in any form including association, affiliation, technical-preferences, creed, ethnicity, or gender. This is a positive event in the name of good spirited competition and artistic expression.
