The Residency x Hip-Hop Education Center present: The Career Cypher
Figuring out the following steps to advance your creative goals when you want to take your project to the next level can feel overwhelming and daunting–but it doesn’t have to be! The Residency has partnered with the Hip-Hop Education Center to present The Career Cypher: A Guide to Independent Artists, a 6-week online workshop series designed for young artists to develop their blueprint to launch creative projects with guidance from expert teaching artists creative industry professionals. In each class, teaching artists will work with students to break down their goals into actionable steps. At the end of the workshop series, participants will leave with a blueprint that serves as a practical guide to help them make their creative dreams a reality.
The series will include steps on how to:
* Develop your brand
* Connect with peers around the world
* Learn ins-and-outs of performance
* Create/write music with a purpose
* Develop marketing/business strategies
The workshop cohort will consist of approximately 21 students meeting for 3 hours online every Saturday for 6 weeks on Google Classrooms.
