For over two decades, Sound Off! has been a launchpad for young musicians ready to move from first song to breakout moment. Selected artists take the stage at MOPOP’s iconic Sky Church as part of a two-day festival program powered by professional tech crews, cinematic lighting, and a crowd ready for what’s next.
Alumni have gone on to play festivals like Bumbershoot and Northwest Folklife, perform at Neumos and The Showbox, record live at 90.3 KEXP, and grow followings that stretch far beyond Puget Sound.
ARTIST DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE
Before showtime, Sound Off! participants receive hands-on support from MOPOP staff, the Youth Advisory Board, and music industry professionals, including:
- Professional band photography
- Social media promotion
- Email marketing support
- Web and digital presence development
- YouTube production
- Paid media campaigns
- Mentorship from industry professionals
- Unlimited artist consultations with the Senior Producer of Artist Development Programs
