We See You: Da Village For Palestine

Please join us this Sunday 11/19 at WASHINGTON HALL for a night of cultural teachings put together by local artists, educators, and organizers in support of liberating ourselves through collective knowledge and action. This event is open to the public; we especially welcome folx who are just entering the conversation about Palestine. We hold this space in honor of your cravings for knowledge and to empower you so that you can carry on the message beyond this gathering.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Learning: We’ll have a political-education talk-back for community to learn how Palestinian liberation is connected to all of our liberation. We’ll also have a resource table with books and literature on Palestine.
Healing: We will have healing services in the form of massage therapy, acupuncture, tarot, and more! Eating: We will have soul food and Palestinian food with vegan and vegetarian options.
Creating: There will be space and supplies to make signs and art for protests and care kits for organizers who have been mobilizing on the ground. We’ll have a screenprinting station featuring a solidarity print from Lourdez.
Connecting: Come ready to build community as we move towards sustainable, long-term, deep rooted solidarity.
Vending: We’ll have a vendor market centering BIPOC folks with everything from Palestinian embroidery to art prints to solidarity macaroons! Vendors will be donating some or all of their proceeds to aid and solidarity for Palestine.

WHAT TO BRING
Donations: Throughout the night, we’ll be raising funds to support folks who have been displaced from the violence in Gaza (bit.ly/PFCxMECA) as well as local Palestine solidarity efforts (@falastiniyat on IG). Please send funds to @theliberationparty on Venmo.
Care Package Items: Please bring items for our care kits like mini candles, lotions, small art pieces, stickers, pins, crystals, etc. to put in care kits for organizers. Tote/ Tee: We’ll have a screenprinting station with a design from Lourdez. Bring a tote, tee, or other cloth item to screenprint on! All funds from screenprinting will go towards our fundraiser.
