The Future Ancient is a year long public art project that centers the lives and perspectives of local Asian and Pacific Islander people and celebrates the grand reopening of the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Funded by the City of Seattle, in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Asian Art Museum, the Future Ancient offer free art and culture based programming, community festivities and experiences through August 2020 and is curated by local Corean artist, Che Sehyun. Our kick-off Lunar New Year’s Party is generously hosted by our partner, Friends of the Volunteer Park Conservatory!
